This hospital provides comprehensive anesthesia services with established protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery across multiple surgical specialties. The facility operates 4 anesthesia rooms under an MD supervised model, with anesthesiologists providing supervision at a 4:1 MD to CRNA ratio. The hospital utilizes the Epic charting system to support clinical documentation and patient management, and locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Williamsburg centers on a 301-acre living history museum that preserves a colonial capital through original 18th-century buildings, working trades, and costumed interpreters. The area also offers a theme park, Freedom Park's 600 acres of forested trails and adventure activities, and the 23-mile Colonial Parkway, which connects to Jamestown along the James River. York River State Park, approximately 15 miles away, provides hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing along tidal wetlands and woodland habitat.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under an MD supervision model during 10-hour day shifts. The surgical case mix includes General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Endoscopy procedures, serving patients across all age groups. Clinicians will work within a 4:1 MD to CRNA staffing model across 4 anesthesia rooms, with MD supervisors overseeing anesthesia care delivery. All clinical documentation must be completed using the Epic charting system. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
