Executive Chef

Executive Chef As an Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish is prepared to perfection and every customer leaves satisfied. Your creativity and leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining high-quality standards and creating new and innovative menu items. You will be responsible for managing a team of chefs, as well as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining food safety standards. Your attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations will make you an essential part of our culinary team. Responsibilities Develop and implement menus that align with our restaurant's concept and customer preferences Train, supervise, and motivate a team of chefs to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation Control food costs by monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen at all times Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to maintain a smooth operation Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into the menu design when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dishes that appeal to customers' tastes Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Proficient in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Culinary Arts or related field preferred Certification from a recognized culinary program is an asset Food Safety Certification is required Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Location: This position is located in the United States and open to all nationalities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
