Your responsibilities will include:Welcome patients and families with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanorProvide exceptional customer service and help create a positive patient experienceAnswer incoming telephone calls, respond to questions, and direct calls to the appropriate team memberSchedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointmentsCheck patients in and out efficiently and accuratelyObtain and verify patient demographic and insurance informationVerify insurance eligibility and benefits as neededCollect co-pays, balances, and other patient paymentsCommunicate financial and appointment information clearly and professionally with patients and familiesMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Coordinate with clinical and administrative team members to help ensure efficient patient flowMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception areaProtect patient privacy and confidentiality by following HIPAA regulations and practice policiesAssist with other administrative duties as needed to support the daily operations of the practiceWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in customer service, healthcare, medical office, or a related field is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA friendly, professional, and patient-focused approachAbility to work effectively with children and their familiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain composed in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismDependable, team-oriented, and willing to contribute to a positive workplace cultureWhy Join Greenville Pediatric Services?At Greenville Pediatric Services, you'll be part of a team dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare to children and supporting the families we serve.
