Work Environment\n

This role will operate in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility in managing your schedule while promoting a balance between personal and professional life. You will work collaboratively with educational institutions to provide support to students experiencing mental health challenges, leveraging technology and telehealth methods to maximize service delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with students, providing assessments, evaluations, and individualized care plans addressing their specific mental health needs.

• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers and counselors, to facilitate integrated care approaches that ensure a supportive environment for students.

• Conduct brief evidence-based screenings and, where necessary, arrange for comprehensive assessments to accurately identify therapeutic needs.

• Create and implement intervention strategies and care plans that prioritize student autonomy and empowerment, promoting resilience and recovery.

• Provide group therapy sessions and individual counseling, addressing a range of issues from anxiety and depression to trauma and familial concerns.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and strategize on consistent approaches to treatment.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain professionalism, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on students from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing symptoms of major mental illness or severe emotional disorders. Serving in a school-based environment, the LCSW will work closely with children and adolescents, helping them navigate the complexities of their mental health challenges and enhancing their capacity for emotional growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, ideally with children and adolescents.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and work within multidisciplinary frameworks.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and an ability to engage sensitively with students and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
