Manager of Ethics & Compliance

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities

Training:

• Ensuring enterprise-wide compliance and policy training needs are properly identified, executed and effective.
• Conducting needs analyses and designing training programs to ensure curriculum content and methods meet legal, regulatory, and corporate objectives.
• Improving and/or developing supporting program content, tools, and metrics
• Evaluating outside vendor training for content fit within the HR Cloud System (OLC), ability for technical deployment within the organization, and ability to meet training needs.
• Managing enterprise and policy training programs in all global regions to ensure appropriate offerings are available for each target audience.
• Planning and managing annual enterprise compliance training programs (Code of Conduct; Anti-Bribery, etc.).
• Developing evaluation procedures to ensure effective learning results.
• Measuring completion rates and providing recommendations for improvement
• Preparing and managing budget for compliance training activities and vendor provided programs consistent with guidelines.
• Managing and maintaining vendor relationships and service agreements
• Troubleshooting existing and potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Serving as a representative on committees and project teams and as a point of contact for learning related projects for all supported programs.
• Developing and coordinating support function training
• Developing dashboard or other visual representation to display metrics from the training program.

Training Governance & Committees:

• Serving as a representative on committees and project teams and as a point of contact for learning related projects for all supported programs.
• Developing and leading committees to evaluate and coordinate with other owners of compliance type training to minimize overlap and achieve better efficiency.
• Evaluating enterprise training offerings to reduce duplication, improve efficiency, and strengthen employee learning experiences.
• Leading discussions regarding curriculum planning, training priorities, and compliance education strategy.
• Preparing committee materials, dashboards, reports, and executive summaries.

Policy Governance & Management:

• Managing new policy management system and projects to convert policies onto this platform.
• Ensures Ethics & Compliance Policies are up to date, and acknowledgments are completed on an appropriate basis.
• Developing evaluation procedures and evaluating appropriate acknowledgment and engagement with the policies.
• Developing dashboards or other visual representations dashboards and other visual representations to display metrics from the policy program
• Serving as point person to ensure other policy owners are updating and maintaining timely reviews of their policies.
• Serving as a representative on committees and project teams and as a point of contact for learning related projects for all supported programs
• Monitoring policy acknowledgement and certification activities to ensure compliance with organizational requirements.
• Serving as primary liaison between policy owners, technology teams, Legal, Human Resources, and other stakeholders.

Compliance Communications & Employee Engagement:

• Communicating regarding training program/project status to learners, managers, and system administration, and project stakeholders via email, project status meetings, regular metrics reporting, portal updates, company newsletter, etc.
• Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources, in person, in writing, by telephone or e-mail
• Develop a brand for Ethics and Compliance department for awareness
• Develop strategies to increase brand awareness
• Create content for communication strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with Subject Matter Owners (SMOs) for collaboration on compliance communications
• Completes special projects or other compliance related duties to drive continuous improvement.
• Developing communication campaigns supporting compliance training launches, policy rollouts, certification programs, and awareness initiatives.
• Building and maintaining an employee awareness program designed to increase understanding of compliance expectations and available resources.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years' experience in ethics & compliance, legal, learning & development, communications, HR or a related field
• Prior responsibility of Enterprise-wide training programs – planning, rollout, execution, and data analysis
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in business management, communications, human resources or related field
• 5 years' experience in ethics & compliance, legal, learning & development, communications, HR or a related field
• Knowledge of the Sherwin-Williams organization and Oracle learning management system
• Experience managing a budget and /or vendor
• Experience with instructional design and training rollouts
• Experience with web content contribution and online course design software
• Prior responsibility of enterprise-wide data analytics to support training initiatives
• Previous involvement in project management throughout a global enterprise
• Experience with exception reporting programs
• Experience with Loss Prevention Management systems (LPMS, Ethics Point, etc.)

Travel Requirements:

• 20%
