Temporary Paralegal Real Estate (4-Month Contract) 3 Days a week/$40.00-50.00 Per Hour We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team on a 4-month temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional looking to contribute to a fast-paced real estate practice. About the Role You will support our General Counsel in managing a variety of commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. You'll play a key role in keeping deals on track, coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties throughout the transaction process. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review real estate transaction documents including contracts, deeds, title commitments, and closing packages Coordinate and manage closings, including scheduling and preparation of closing statements (HUD-1/ALTA) Conduct title searches and review title reports for issues or encumbrances Communicate with clients, brokers, lenders, and municipalities to gather required documentation Perform due diligence, including zoning, lien, and UCC searches Maintain and organize transaction files and deadlines Draft correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision Qualifications 35 years of paralegal experience in real estate law required Paralegal certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial real estate transactions Familiarity with title insurance, escrow procedures, and closing processes Proficiency in legal document management software and Microsoft Office Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Details Contract Duration: 4 months Location: Ridgewood, NJ | Hybrid
