Paralegal

Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Paralegal based in Roseland, NJ . A background check may be run only after a conditional offer is made, where permitted by law . Salary/Hourly Rate: $70,000-90,000 Position Overview: Seeking a Paralegal to support attorneys in managing litigation, commercial law, bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors' rights cases. The role involves preparing legal documents, managing case files, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Responsibilities: Prepare, organize, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents Manage case files, monitor court dockets, calendar deadlines, and maintain accurate case records Assist attorneys with discovery, document review, legal research, exhibit preparation, and trial or hearing binders Coordinate with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, vendors, and other third parties regarding filings, scheduling, and case-related matters Conduct legal and factual research and gather supporting documentation for ongoing matters Prepare reports, summaries, and client communications as directed by attorneys Maintain confidentiality while managing multiple cases and competing priorities Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation and other legal proceedings Utilize legal document management systems to organize and track case materials Required Experience/Skills: Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 5+ years of paralegal experience supporting litigation, commercial law, bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, or other complex legal matters Strong organizational, writing, proofreading, and document management skills Experience with electronic court filing (e-filing), docket management, and calendaring deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Experience/Skills: Experience supporting commercial litigation, bankruptcy, restructuring, or other complex legal practice areas Familiarity with federal and state court procedures and filing requirements Knowledge of legal research tools and databases Ability to draft and review complex legal documents Education Requirements: Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Studies.
