Role Description The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a part-time role and can be remote. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing social media content across platforms to promote podcast episodes and fan engagement initiatives. The specialist will manage social media calendars, monitor and respond to audience interactions, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies to increase reach and engagement. Day-to-day tasks include developing campaign concepts, collaborating with hosts and production staff on promotional materials, creating short-form video and graphics, and ensuring consistent brand voice across all channels. The role also involves staying current with sports news and social media trends, contributing ideas to grow the audience, and supporting broader marketing efforts for the podcast. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation. Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience managing social media accounts for brands, media, or sports organizations is beneficial. Familiarity with Utah Utes athletics and college sports culture is a plus. Ability to use social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, native platform analytics) is preferred. Basic skills in graphic design and video editing for social content (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools, mobile apps) are advantageous.
