Welder / Fitter

Full-Time Pay: $24.00$28.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: MondayFriday: 5:00 AM 5:30 PM Saturdays as required

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter with at least two years of experience to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork while producing high-quality welds that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (metal core) and flux-core welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Fit and weld pipe, flanges, structural steel, and vessel components.
• Operate flame and plasma cutting equipment.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and company quality standards.
• Produce welds that meet X-ray and ultrasonic inspection requirements.
• Use grinders, measuring tools, fixtures, and hand tools.
• Operate forklifts as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Work collaboratively to improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of welding/fitting experience.
• Welding certification required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of structural steel, pipe, and vessel fabrication.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, squat, climb, reach, and twist. Lift and handle welding equipment and materials. Work in hot and cold environments. Safely climb ladders and stairs.
