Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for students presenting a range of challenges, including behavioral issues and trauma.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, drawing from evidence-based practices to promote emotional and psychological well-being.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, using therapeutic modalities appropriate for various disorders, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to create coordinated care plans.
\n
• Perform crisis intervention and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
\n
• Offer psychoeducation to both students and families regarding mental health, coping strategies, and available resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay updated on mental health issues and trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve students with diverse special needs, including but not limited to ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD. The focus is on fostering an environment of understanding, growth, and emotional resilience, allowing each student to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits\n
