Below we've reflected the base salary range we would offer for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment's total compensation package for employees.New York City: $110,000- $130,000This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.A Day in the LifeAssist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of journal entries, meticulous account reconciliation, and insightful variance analysis to inform strategic decision-makingOversee and optimize the management of fixed assets, prepaid assets, and revenue to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accurate financial reportingContinuously seek and implement innovative process improvements within the accounting function to drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and enhance overall financial integrityAssist in the development and implementation of scalable, robust accounting processes that ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, enabling the business to scale effectivelyPlay a key role in our annual external audit process by preparing necessary documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and implementing audit recommendationsPerform additional ad-hoc requests which arise throughout the yearWhat We're Looking forBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
