About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal

candidate will have hands-on experience with Amada press brakes and controllers, ensuring

precision and efficiency in sheet metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

 Set up and operate Amada press brakes to produce parts to specification

 Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop travelers

 Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools

 Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain tolerances

 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

 5+ years of experience preferred.

 Proven experience operating press brakes, specifically Amada controllers

 Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and bend allowances

 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

 Attention to detail and commitment to quality

 Team-oriented with good communication skills

• Maintain and troubleshoot press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document production processes and report any discrepancies or issues to management.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication is a plus.
• Proven experience as a press brake operator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using measuring tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
