Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role supporting students and educators as a school paraprofessional in a contract position for the upcoming academic year near Rochester, NH. This opportunity offers four openings to work directly within a middle school setting, providing both individualized (1:1) and classroom-wide assistance.
Bring your passion for education and dedication to making a positive impact in students’ daily lives. Collaboration, flexibility, and effective communication will be key as you work closely with teachers, staff, and students throughout the school day.
What we’re looking for:
- Prior experience working in K-12 school environments
- High school diploma (no additional paraprofessional certifications or higher education required)
- Ability to succeed in both 1:1 support and general classroom assistance roles
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable managing a fast-paced school schedule
- Three completed professional references, including your most recent manager (required before the interview process)
- Strong teamwork skills and a supportive, student-focused mindset
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct support to students in both individualized and classroom settings
- Assist with daily classroom activities and help implement lesson plans
- Support diverse learners and adapt to a range of academic and behavioral needs
- Work alongside teachers and support staff to foster a positive school environment
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule from 7:10 a.m. to 2:10 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 32.5 hours per week for the 2026-2027 school year. The position offers the chance to make lasting connections and a positive difference each day.
