Machine Operator Coater - 2nd Shift

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.00 $24.00 per hour (plus $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift)
Shift: Monday Friday 2nd shift 3pm 11pm Must be willing to work overtime, 1 to 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at least 1-2 times a month.

What's a typical day as Machine Operator? You'll be:
- Operating and maintaining coating machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality
- Reading schedules to determine solutions and changeovers, and performing machine setups as needed
- Observing machines during operation to detect defects, making necessary adjustments, and performing quality checks
- Handling material movement (loading, unloading, packing, and transporting) using carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts
- Cleaning machines and equipment between runs, with occasional confined space entry
- Recording production run quantities, following SOPs, and conducting QA testing using computer equipment
- Assisting other operators, cross-training on equipment, and supporting other departments as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (required)
- Bring manufacturing experience and/or mechanical aptitude (preferred)
- Possess intermediate computer skills and strong attention to detail
- Can comply with a 100% non-smoking campus policy and complete a respiratory clearance exam (as needed)
- Are available for 2nd shift and overtime/weekend work as required
