Qualifications & Credentials:

• Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist (IS) License
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience working with K-8 students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to create and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver differentiated lessons for students with various learning needs
• Design and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tracking progress and communicating with families
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators
• Address behavioral, academic, and social-emotional development for each student
• Partner regularly with families and support staff for cohesive student planning
