Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Preschool Special Education Teacher in a full-time, contract role beginning August 25, 2026, for a 12-week period. In this long-term substitute position, you’ll make a significant difference by guiding preschool-aged students through specialized early learning experiences, helping each child develop foundational skills and confidence.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license or certification appropriate for preschool-aged children
• Proven experience working in early childhood education, particularly in a special education setting
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and experience managing goals and accommodations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Organizational skills to efficiently plan and implement individualized instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to preschoolers with diverse learning and developmental needs in a nurturing classroom
• Develop and implement lessons that address IEP goals and adapt teaching strategies to maximize each child’s success
• Monitor, assess, and record students' progress, collaborating with parents and school teams to ensure support and continuity
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
• Model patience, empathy, and adaptability throughout daily routines and learning activities
