This short-term contract role covers a 12-week maternity leave, working full-time with kindergarten through second-grade students identified with Multiple Disabilities. The position is located in the vicinity of Strongsville, OH, and begins September 16, 2026.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Solid background supporting students with Multiple Disabilities, ideally in early elementary settings.
• Ability to deliver differentiated instruction and implement individualized accommodations based on IEP goals.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain structured routines and promote a safe, supportive environment.
• Collaborative approach with school staff, therapists, and families.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Guide and instruct K-2 students with Multiple Disabilities in alignment with modified curriculum.
• Execute lesson plans, adapting to each student’s unique learning and behavioral needs.
• Implement and monitor student accommodations and modifications as required by IEP documentation.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community, encouraging participation and learning growth.
• Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and open communication with families and specialists.
