Human Resources Coordinator

Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and personnel file management. Maintain employee records, licenses, certifications, and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality. Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee status changes. Monitor compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements. Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives. Assist managers with HR policies, performance management, and employee relations. Coordinate unemployment claims, workers' compensation documentation, OSHA recordkeeping, and return-to-work processes. Participate in surveys, audits, and other HR compliance activities. Provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of Human Resources, employee relations, recruiting, training, or administrative experience preferred. Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
