Revenue Accounting Manager

Position: Manager / Senior Manager - Record to Report Location: San Jose, CA (HYBRID) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Record to Report (R2R) to support a U.S.-based client with accounting cleanup, financial close, and month-end activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in general accounting, Record to Report processes, US GAAP, and Oracle Fusion ERP . This is a client-facing role requiring the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, and consistently deliver accurate financial results. Key Responsibilities Manage and review Record to Report (R2R) and general accounting activities. Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close activities. Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L reports . Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Support fixed asset accounting , including capitalization, depreciation, and amortization. Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations . Support accounting cleanup, remediation, and financial process stabilization activities. Analyze account balances and resolve accounting issues promptly. Support the preparation of consolidated month-end financial reports within the ERP system. Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on actuals versus forecasts and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure timely financial close and reporting. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements . Support internal and external audits as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting , Finance, or a related field . CPA strongly preferred ; CA or MBA may also be considered. 8–10+ years of experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger, and financial accounting . Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud ERP . Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting U.S.-based clients. Experience with month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting cleanup . Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and client-facing/stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a shared services or BPO environment . Experience with accounting cleanup, financial remediation, or process stabilization projects.
