Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and positive relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their progress, stability, upcoming appointments, and decide on discharge when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to establish foundational understandings for ongoing therapeutic work.

• Participate in individual supervision sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in New York.

• Proficiency in using various computer applications including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for documentation and scheduling.

• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to both individuals and families.

• Ability and comfort in performing intake assessments and understanding clinical assessment tools.
