Veryfi is a Series A fintech startup creating products that change the world, liberating users from manual data entry and all the inefficiencies associated with that. In this position, you will gain the experience working with a full, diverse marketing team and bring both product-focused and branded stories to life.

Content is built to enhance brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate conversions. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content marketing for an expansive tech industry.

As a Content Marketing Intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Marketing team in producing content, measuring effectiveness of the written and video content you produce, and identifying gaps in topics branded by the business.

Job Expectations:

• 5 days a week in San Mateo (HQ) Office
• Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 50% Video Content:
  • Monthly Goal: Create on average two long form videos per month (<5 min each)
  • Weekly Goal: Create on average 2-3 short clips for Reels and YouTube Shorts that effectively highlight key moments from the long form videos, new product updates or viral trends about corporate life.
  • Social Content: Create and consistently post on trend, relevant content to our socials
• 50% Written Content & Analysis:
• Publish 3-5 SEO/GEO-optimized blog posts per month, informed by industry trends, competitor research, and emerging topics to drive organic growth.
• Stay closely aligned with product owners to track new feature releases and product updates, ensuring each update receives timely content coverage, both in written and video forms.
• Support email marketing campaigns, create blog graphics using branded templates to ensure consistent, on-brand communication across all channels.

Job Responsibilities:

• Growth Strategy & Industry Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging topics to inform content strategy and create timely, relevant blog posts that drive organic growth.
• Content Creation, SEO & GEO: Develop blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and marketing materials while optimizing for search engines and user engagement.
• Reporting: Develop reports on marketing activities, tracking key metrics like website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI across all channels.
• Research and Trends: Stay updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. As well as, conduct research on industry competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for gaining conversions and revenue through your content production.
• Digital portfolio or strong examples showcasing previous work is required.
• Video Editing: Generate branded creative marketing materials – including long form videos and engaging social media reels, that promote our products and success stories. This requires you to be comfortable in front of the camera and being posted on socials.
• Blog Graphic creation: Create blog graphics using our branded template.
• Email Marketing: Support the email marketing efforts by helping to create email campaigns, drafting email copy, and segmenting email lists.

Your Skills:

• Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop)
• Highly organized and collaborative, with a proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work
• Solid understanding of social media strategy and core marketing principles
• SEO Knowledge and experience with working SEO tools - Keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO basics
• Content Management Systems - WordPress, HubSpot, or similar platforms
• Analytics Tools - Google Analytics (preferred), Google Search Console, social media analytics
