As well as keeping up with ticket times and prep items./ppReporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, every day is different, but you will mostly:/pulliPromote Regents service philosophy and style through our people attributes./liliMaintain impeccable personal grooming standards to uphold the professional and property style of the resort./liliPrepare all pastry food items as directed by the Executive Pastry Chef and lead cooks, in accordance with hotel standards in a timely and efficient fashion to ensure that there is no interruption to guest service./liliWork closely with stewarding to endure a clean and safe work environment in line with local health codes./liliConsistently demonstrate positive behavior and performance./liliEnsures food cost is managed by controlling food waste through proper rotation, storage and preparation of all food./liliPossess a complete understanding of the menu, recipes and presentations, and must be aware of all common food allergens in each dish./liliEnsures that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard./liliEnsures that station is always fully stocked and organized./liliMust be capable of all measuring and baking techniques./liliMust have a basic understanding of decorating techniques./liliPrepare breads, pies, cakes and other desserts as needed./liliAssist in keeping a close eye on inventory levels in all areas of the kitchen, and communicate with the Chef when items begin to run low./li/ulpWhat We need from you:/pulliMinimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel preferred./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent education./liliCarrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds./liliKnowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards./liliStrong leadership and interpersonal skills./liliExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment./liliBasic knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes./liliWillingness to assist in other areas when necessary and reasonably requested./liliFlexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays./li/ulpWhat you can expect from us:/ppThe hourly pay range for this role is $27.24 to $34.05.
