Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies for clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, incorporating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care and integrate various therapeutic modalities as needed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on serving individuals and families facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship difficulties. The clientele may have limited access to traditional mental health services, so your role as a compassionate and knowledgeable counselor is crucial in facilitating their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, contingent upon experience and caseload availability.
