Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations, utilizing diagnostic tools to identify a range of mental health conditions.
• Provide ongoing medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to deliver holistic, integrated healthcare tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during times of emotional distress or psychiatric emergencies.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize mental illness.
• Deliver psychoeducation and therapeutic support to patients, enhancing their understanding of mental health and empowering them in their treatment journey.
• Ensure diligent maintenance of accurate and confidential patient records, following HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds, age groups, and mental health needs. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Active state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a psychiatric specialization.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
