Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, factoring in a diverse range of treatment options and therapeutic modalities that reflect modern psychiatric care.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring their effects and making necessary adjustments to dosage and therapy as patient needs evolve.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling, implementing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapies.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care that addresses the multifaceted needs of each patient.
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their health journeys.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up appointments, documenting treatment outcomes and response to interventions in an electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with a specialization in psychiatric mental health nursing.

Compensation and Benefits
