Director Of SalesThe Director of Sales, for one-way transportation/brokerage, is responsible for maintaining and/or developing business relationships with customers and prospects by exploring opportunities within assigned market regions. This position reports to the Senior Director of Sales in their Region.ResponsibilitiesDay to day marketing and prospecting leadsDevelops proposals and builds solutions for clientsProvides day to day administrative duties including pipeline and customer contact information updated and accurateMaintains relationships with existing customers on a regular basis, including frequent on-site visitsCommunicates issues and concerns with operations, pricing, accounting and customer service to NFI Management teamProspects and sources new opportunities within assigned regionsParticipates in contract, rate schedule development, and bid reviewResponsible for creating and delivering high quality presentations to the customerPartners with peers and management to enhance selling techniquesQualificationsDesire to succeed in a quota driven sales environmentAbility and availability to travel as business needs dictateMinimum 5 years sales experience within the transportation industry – TL experience preferredFamiliarity with PC (Microsoft applications)Strong knowledge base of the industry and marketplaceStrong customer service skillsExcellent communicator who is able to articulate the value proposition of the CompanyProven experience in prospecting and developing new businessStrong marketing background and capabilityExcellent analytical skills – assess, design and sell a given solutionAbility and availability to work flexible hoursWe are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $120,000.00-160,000.00 USD Annual.
