Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and develop customized treatment protocols
• Implement physical therapy interventions conceived to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehab specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through the therapeutic process, discussing goals and home exercise plans
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary workshops to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are an advantage, but not essential

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
