Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families to address various mental health issues and relationship dynamics.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop treatment plans tailored to your clients' unique needs.
\n
• Facilitating communication between family members to improve understanding, resolve conflicts, and support healthier relationships.

• Providing specialized support in areas such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, and adjustment to separation or divorce.
\n
• Tracking client progress through appropriate assessments and documentation to measure outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care that addresses clients' overall wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, including couples navigating relationship challenges, families dealing with conflicts or transitions, and individuals who require mental health support. You will be trained to work effectively with both adults and children/adolescents, addressing complex family dynamics, healthcare issues, and other stressors impacting mental health.

Qualifications\n

To join our team, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and current marriage and family therapist (LMFT) license issued by the state of New Jersey.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.
\n
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and achieving clinical excellence.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

We welcome both recently licensed and seasoned professionals. Experience working with family dynamics, trauma-informed care, and common behavioral health issues will be highly valued. Flexibility in availability, with a commitment to seeing clients for a minimum of 30 hours per week, is also desired.

Compensation and Benefits\n
