Job SummaryWe're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee daily financial operations in our manufacturing environment. This role combines financial expertise with operational insight to drive efficiency, cost control, and process improvement while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Join our team and help drive financial excellence while supporting operational success in a dynamic manufacturing environment!ResponsibilitiesControl daily accounting and finance activities including job costing, payables, cash flow projections, and month-end reportingPrepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial comparisonsManage statutory and internal auditsReview daily shipments, receipts, and direct labor hoursCollaborate with manufacturing operations on cost-cutting initiativesSet monthly operational targets for shipments, labor hours, and inventoryMonitor and control operational costs including supplies, repairs, and overtimePlan equipment acquisition based on availability, costs, and economic projectionsDevelop performance reports on jobs, personnel utilization, and financial metricsDirect staff activities to maximize efficiency and profitabilityManage production budget and ensure quality standardsSkills/Education RequiredBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fieldMinimum 8+ years of manufacturing accounting experienceComprehensive understanding of Hyperion monthly processesAdvanced Excel proficiency including macros and complex formulasHyperion expertise (HFM/Essbase, SmartView, FR Studio)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational and multitasking capabilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesUS GAAP knowledge and applicationSystems integration understandingSkills/Education PreferredAdvanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.)JD Edwards experienceManufacturing operations backgroundAbout Us:Weatherford is a leading global energy services company.
