Ultrasound Technologist - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 8 PM - 6 AM, Monday to Thursday. No call or weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our busy department. The technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, particularly in OB, breast, vascular, general abdomen, and GYN specialties. The ideal candidate must have experience working with neonates, infants, and pediatrics and be able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document ultrasound exams for diverse patient populations.
• Work efficiently in a busy department, meeting patient needs promptly.
• Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment, preferably Samsung, to conduct examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data using PACS and other systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• Current ARDMS and BLS certifications required; additional certifications in AB, OB, and Vascular are preferred.
• State licensure in New York is required at the time of submission.
• EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement.
