Network Operations Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Support Specialist role to support a mission-critical federal program out of Springfield, VA. ***This role requires an ACTIVE Top Secret w/SCI Eligibility*** Responsibilities of the Network Support Specialist: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices Handle Tier 2 issues and perform troubleshooting Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies Performpacket captures, analyze firewall logs, and resolve network issues using diagnostic tools Manage and secureLAN/WAN environments Qualifications of the Network Support Specialist: 1+ years of experience in network administration/operations or related field Hands on experience with LAN/WAN Experience working with electronic security devices (Intrusion Detection, IDS, Access Control, CCTV, etc.) Tier 2 troubleshooting/maintenance experience Must have an active TS/SCI clearance Compensation of the Network Support Specialist: Salary: Between $80,000 - $115,000 annually based on years of experience Comprehensive Benefits: Full Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401k, PTO (Paid Time Off), Paid Holidays, Sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 7/15/2026.
