You’ll love it here. Join UCLA Health as a Pharmacy Supervisor, a key leadership role within Ambulatory Pharmacy Services. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee a specialized team of pharmacists and technicians supporting outpatient pharmacy operations and pharmacy‑led clinical services. This position is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining efficient workflows, supporting staff performance and development, and continuously improving operational effectiveness across assigned areas. In this role, you will provide operational oversight for the procurement, storage, preparation, dispensing, distribution, and auditing of pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances and hazardous products, in alignment with departmental policies and regulatory requirements. You will maintain and implement standard operating procedures, ensure training and competency completion, and support readiness for accreditation and audits. As a people leader, you will supervise, coach, and develop pharmacy staff by supporting hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective action when needed. You will promote cross‑training and continuity of care across workflows, ensuring your team operates at a high level of performance, productivity, and service. You will also collaborate closely with clinic partners and departmental leadership to expand and enhance pharmacy services, support new initiatives, and improve patient access to therapies. This includes participating in direct patient care activities and serving as a liaison between pharmacy and clinical/non‑clinical departments to strengthen communication, service quality, and patient satisfaction.
