ACADEMIC SURGICAL PATHOLOGIST: BREAST PATHOLOGIST

Emory University Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Academic Surgical Pathologist: Breast Pathologist The Emory University Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine has a full-time academic faculty position available in breast surgical pathology. Candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience may be considered for the Director of Breast Pathology. We seek a non‑tenure track Surgical Pathologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor to join an interactive, collegial group of faculty who evaluate a wide variety of breast specimens, including approximately 1,200 new breast cancer cases each year, in a subspecialized setting from seven breast center locations. A large AP/CP residency program, 14 accredited subspecialty fellowships, advanced molecular diagnostic capabilities, and close ties to the NCI‑designated Winship Cancer Institute provide abundant opportunities for clinical and translational scholarship and teaching. Qualifications At least 3–5 years of relevant experience. Board eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology and eligible for medical licensure in Georgia. Fellowship training and/or expertise in breast pathology preferred. Interest in a second anatomic pathology subspecialty, specifically gynecologic pathology or cytopathology, desirable. Compensation and faculty rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
