Paralegal

Whitecap Search is looking for a dedicated professional to join a legal team within the pharmaceutical industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an in-house legal environment, focusing on compliance, legal, and regulatory matters in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

The position provides administrative and legal support to the Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory Department. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with contract administration
• Managing legal documents and corporate records
• Supporting compliance program activities
• Handling regulatory documentation
• Ensuring the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field required
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
• Basic understanding of legal terminology, contract administration, and legal document management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• 2 years of paralegal, legal administrative, compliance, or related professional experience
• Internship or prior experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, healthcare organization, or regulated industry preferred
• Experience managing documents, records, or contracts is a plus
• This position is fully onsite 5 days a week in office - no exceptions
