This position allows you to work remotely while still being an integrated part of our outpatient office environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, establishing a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique goals and preferences, taking into account where they are in the therapeutic process.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address the mental health challenges faced by clients.

• Provide education and practical support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to encourage a holistic approach to mental wellness.

• Monitor client progress closely and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as appropriate, responding to the evolving needs of the clients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure coordinated care that meets the comprehensive needs of clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorders to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring that client information is managed appropriately.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development exercises to foster a collaborative culture of learning and support.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, promoting a decrease in stigma surrounding mental health issues and facilitating accessible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus in this role will be on clients facing challenges related to relationships, including couples navigating divorce and families experiencing systemic issues. You will support clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying experiences, promoting healing through empathy and therapeutic intervention.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated ability to build secure and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, showcasing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must demonstrate empathy, a nonjudgmental attitude, and a deep understanding of clients' struggles, ensuring a supportive environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills are required to effectively balance client loads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
