Job title: Associate Attorney Job location: New York, NY. Offered Salary: $156,832.00 per year Number of positions: 1 opening. Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week. Job Description Advise clients on a variety of employment-based and family-based immigration matters; Gather, review, analyze and compile required documentation to support a range of immigration applications/petitions; Conduct legal research and analysis using relevant statutes, regulations, agency guidance and case law to prepare memoranda of law and plan case strategy; Prepare and assist in filing a wide range of NIV and IV employment-based and family-based petitions and applications including drafting forms, preparing supporting letters, affidavits and other required documentation; Prepare RFE responses, Appeals, Motions to Reopen/Reconsider Education and Experience required Must possess a JD or LLM degree from an accredited University. Foreign degree equivalent acceptable. Must be admitted to the New York State bar. Must possess at least 6 months experience as an attorney working in the area of immigration law. Experience must include preparing a full range of employment-based and family-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions/applications, including but not limited to: R-1, H-1B, I-140 and I-130/485 petitions/applications.
