Summary

The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

What You'll Do

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.

● Must have the ability to perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.

● Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment as needed

● Initiates process improvements of assigned working area.

What You'll Bring

● Requires a minimum of 1-2 years related experience of production and technical knowledge.

● High school diploma and college courses preferred.

● Must be able to lift and push up to 20 pounds

● Able to stand all day

● Able to communicate in English

● Able to use hand tools such as a Electric drivers

● Able to work 40+ a week

● Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines under supervision

● Read and understand prints and drawings.

At Sanmina, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $45,760 and $49,920 ($22.00 - $24.00 per hour), and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
