Head of Regulatory Compliance

CONFIDENTIAL Scovai, a pioneering force in the Talent Acquisition & Recruiting sector, is conducting a confidential search for a Head of Regulatory Compliance to lead and scale its compliance function at a critical stage of growth. Scovai's innovative talent platform spans the full employee lifecycle—integrating transparent, auditable AI with human judgment—making regulatory leadership not only operationally vital but strategically central to the company's mission. Reporting to senior executive leadership, this Director-level role will own the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of the organization's regulatory framework across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring the business remains ahead of an increasingly complex and fast-moving compliance landscape.

The Head of Regulatory Compliance will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust compliance programs that address data privacy mandates (GDPR, CCPA), AI governance frameworks, and industry-specific regulatory requirements across financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors. This leader will serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, cultivating trusted relationships and proactively managing regulatory inquiries and examinations. Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Data teams will be essential to embed compliance by design into Scovai's platform and operations.

Proven track record negotiating with regulators and managing enforcement investigations across multiple jurisdictions Experience implementing and certifying information security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO 37301/19600) Hands-on background in product compliance and privacy-by-design processes, partnering with engineering and ML teams to operationalize controls Deep experience in third-party/vendor risk management and contract negotiation for data processing and AI model supply chains Knowledge of employment and labor law compliance across key markets (hiring practices, background checks, worker classification) relevant to talent-acquisition platforms

Nice to have

• Prior compliance leadership experience in financial services, healthcare, or technology sectors
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-specific regulatory frameworks and emerging global AI legislation
• Experience managing compliance in high-growth or platform-based technology companies
• Track record of building compliance functions from the ground up in scaling organizations
• Advanced degree (JD, LLM) or professional compliance certification (CRCM, CCEP, CIPP)
