Location: Remote (PST preferred, flexible for the right candidate)

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $85.00 – $85.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 6 months

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

• Own day-to-day onboarding execution for large new hire cohorts, coordinating start dates and communications
• Manage contingent worker onboarding, including background checks and welcome communications
• Process conversions and status changes (full-time to part-time, contractor modifications, vendor communications)
• Maintain employee records in Workday; process updates and ensure data accuracy
• Triage and respond to internal employee questions via the people tickets queue
• Help build and maintain onboarding guides, process playbooks, and FAQs

Requirements:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong professional judgment handling sensitive employee data
• Reliable and responsive, able to manage time-sensitive requests
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, shifting environment
• Customer service-oriented mindset toward internal teams
• Comfortable collaborating closely with a teammate on shared workload
• Preferred: experience with HR systems/tools such as Workday or Greenhouse
• Preferred: background at a fast-growing tech company
