This contract role runs through the end of May 2027 and is based at a busy, well-resourced school with a collaborative administrative and office team. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:25 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., aligning with the academic calendar for unmatched work/life balance.

You’ll manage the health office, oversee daily care routines, perform medical reviews, and collaborate on IEP and 504 Plan processes—all essential elements of the CSN role. This position is ideal for a proactive, flexible professional who values teamwork and is comfortable supporting students with varying levels of health and personal care needs as part of a dedicated student support team.

Qualifications:

• BSN with Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsement for Certified School Nurse (CSN) – applicants must have completed, or be actively enrolled in, required CSN courses (typically a 1-2 year process)
• Prior CSN experience and/or bilingual Spanish language skills are highly desirable
• Strong initiative and able to work independently within a busy school setting
• Proficient and comfortable with technology, including electronic health records and digital document management
• Demonstrated flexibility, dependability, and a team approach
• Commitment to reliable attendance through the remainder of the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily health office operations and student health support needs
• Complete medical reviews and provide input during IEP and 504 Plan meetings
• Collaborate with classroom staff, other nurses, and the wider school team
• Provide personal care to students as needed to facilitate learning and participation
