Your mission

As an Assembly Specialist in Sedalia, MO, you will turn prints and procedures into reliable machines—assembling rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, straight lobe blowers, and restoring returned units to peak performance.

Location: Gardner Denver – 305 North State Fair Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

How you’ll contribute

• Translate BOMs, blueprints, and visual instructions into accurate assemblies.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to uphold rigorous quality standards.
• Support standardized build steps and the re-manufacture of returned units.
• Use mechanical know-how, shop math, and unit conversions to achieve precision.
• Model safe work practices and strong teamwork in a production setting.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude; familiarity with tools and blueprint interpretation.
• Experience with shop math and metric/imperial conversions preferred.
• Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
