Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist — Remote

Job Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support billing operations, account management, payment processing, and customer inquiries.
This is a remote, non-technical position that is well suited for someone with experience in billing, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, finance administration, customer service, or general office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process customer invoices
- Monitor outstanding invoices and account balances
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process payments and maintain accurate account records
- Communicate with customers regarding invoices and payment questions
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve account issues
- Reconcile transactions and identify discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial and customer documentation
- Follow established billing and payment procedures
- Prepare reports and assist with month-end activities
- Protect confidential customer and financial information
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, finance administration, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and business software
- Ability to research discrepancies and solve problems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
No coding or technical background is required.
