Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiology - Chicago Suburbs (Aurora)-22699

Location: Aurora, Illinois Hospital: Rush Copley Medical Center Department: Cardiology Position Inpatient General/Non-Invasive Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions. Perform patient evaluations, coordinate care transitions, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Schedule: average 40 patient-facing hours per week (inpatient). Enhance inpatient access and continuity of care, supporting both acute and long-term management of cardiac patients across the continuum of care. Preferred Qualifications Prior advanced practice provider experience is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply. APRN candidates must hold an Acute Care Certification if performing inpatient work. Position Requirements – Nurse Practitioner Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a clinical specialty appropriate to the position. Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). CPR and ACLS certifications. Position Requirements – Physician Assistant Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program. Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. CPR and ACLS certifications.
