Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor movement in accordance with site protocols, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support day-to-day operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
