Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. At a respected financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. As part of Allied Universal, you will join an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works through teamwork, and acts with integrity while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.

- Provide customer service at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support day-to-day operations by completing routine logs, incident reports, and other assigned duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
