Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Driver Patrol Assignment in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and assist with visitor processing and directions while maintaining professional interactions.
- Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site contacts and/or local responders when needed and completing assigned reports related to daily activities and incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
