Industrial Maintenance TechnicianIndustrial Maintenance Technician | Electrical & Mechanical | 3rd ShiftCuyahoga Heights, OH | 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. | $3,000 Sign-On BonusPut Your Maintenance Skills to Work and Keep Building ThemIf you're an experienced maintenance technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems and getting things running again, we'd like to talk with you.Worthington Steel is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to join our Cuyahoga Heights team.You'll work hands-on with industrial production equipment while continuing to develop your skills in electrical systems, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and other areas of industrial maintenance.What You'll GetCompetitive starting pay with flexibility based on your maintenance experience and technical skill set$3,000 sign-on bonusMedical, dental and vision benefits starting Day 1Quarterly profit sharing401(k)Paid training and technical developmentOpportunities to earn industry-recognized certificationsCross-training across multiple maintenance disciplinesLeadership development and advancement opportunitiesYour ScheduleThis position is specifically for 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.What You'll Work OnThis is a hands-on industrial maintenance role supporting the equipment that keeps our steel processing operation running.You'll:Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment problemsTroubleshoot motors, controls and industrial electrical systemsWork with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs and ladder logicTroubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systemsPerform preventive maintenanceRead electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints and schematicsComplete mechanical repairs and equipment adjustmentsPerform welding, cutting and fabrication as neededUse meters and diagnostic equipment to identify problemsDocument maintenance activities and repairsPartner with production to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliabilityWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is a troubleshooter at heart. You don't just want to replace a part. You want to understand what failed, determine why and fix the problem correctly.You may be a great fit if you have:Industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance or related skilled-trades experienceMechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience with hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to read electrical and mechanical prints and schematicsExperience using meters and diagnostic toolsA strong commitment to safetyThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, ladder logic, HMIs, welding and fabrication is highly valued.Don't check every box?
