DaBo Burgers, the sister restaurant of Mélange Foods, is hiring a Sous Chef for our location inside the Atlas Bridge District Brewery & Tap Room.
Location:
600 Howard Road SE, Suite 100
Washington, DC 20020
Restaurant Hours:
Thursday and Friday: 4:00 PM–9:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM–9:00 PM
Closed Monday through Wednesday
Compensation:
$20–$25 per hour, based on experience
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sous Chef to supervise kitchen operations, support food preparation and service, and ensure the kitchen remains clean, sanitary, and compliant with all food safety and health code requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising kitchen staff and daily service
Ensuring sanitation, food safety, and health code standards are followed
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
Monitoring food preparation, quality, and consistency
Supporting prep, inventory, and general kitchen operations
Applicants should have previous professional kitchen and supervisory experience, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
