Account Manager - Personal Lines

Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Bend, ORThe Account Manager’s primary responsibility is servicing existing accounts while generating additional revenue through cross-selling, accounting rounding, and new business. Account Managers provide high level consulting services for our customers’ personal insurance needs. Developing strong relationships with our customers and understanding their risk exposures, ensures our customers’ personal assets and their financial positions are protected.How You Will Contribute:Analyze customer’s lost exposures and determine coverage needsAnnual revenue (commission) generation through cross-selling, account rounding, and new businessMeet or exceed annual department retention goalsPrepare proposals and meet with customers to present recommendationsAssist customers with day-to-day questions, coverage changes, billing issues, etc.Generate documents and produce correspondence including summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposalsUpdate and run account and policy information including claims in agency management system, AMSTake initial loss information and report claims to carrier in a timely mannerCompletes all policies and underwriting specifications on accounts; prepare all accompanying documentation and analysisPrepare policy renewals and endorsements, account updating, and billingDevelop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers through phone calls, personal meetings, seminars, etc.Licenses and Certifications: Must have and maintain a current Property & Casualty License for the State of Oregon and/or resident state.
