About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Preconstruction with a focus on design/build to lead and drive impactful preconstruction efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of preconstruction, including land due diligence, site planning, conceptual design, and estimating for a variety of construction projects. This role requires a strategic leader who can ensure the excellence of project planning and execution, maintain high standards in budgeting and execution strategies, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the preconstruction team. The Vice President will also be expected to collaborate with retiring leadership for a seamless transition, align preconstruction processes with organizational goals, and contribute to the growth and success of the company. Applicants for the Vice President of Preconstruction position at the company must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 20 years of experience in preconstruction, design-build, and project estimating. Executive-level expertise in land due diligence, site planning, and conceptual design is essential, as is a proven track record of leadership in diverse sectors, including industrial, commercial, and medical. The role demands a professional with strong knowledge of roadway infrastructure and specialty construction projects, exceptional strategic planning and team management skills, and a commitment to innovation in preconstruction processes. The ability to collaborate effectively with retiring leadership and ensure a smooth transition is also a key requirement for this executive position.
